K.P. Powell
Actor - Writer - Director
ATLANTA, GA
K.P. got into acting relatively late. Originally from St. Louis, he attended St. Louis University in their doctorate of Physical Therapy program and got a Bachelors in Exercise Science before going to the University of Houston to get his M.F.A. (sorry mom & dad). All because a theater teacher in high school told him they needed guys for the musical and the girls would be so very grateful if he auditioned.
Ever since, he's been working on stages and sets all over the country. He's taught acting to all ages from the professional level as young as 2nd grade. He also tends to create original content for every theater he works for including the original rap battle he wrote for a production of Romeo and Juliet at the American Shakespeare Center. (Check it out ) After sharpening his skills across the country, he moved to Atlanta. As an actor, he will break Sean Bean's on-screen death record. As a writer, he will produce a movie in every major genre.
K.P. loves Batman. LOVES!
"Through his brilliant acting, Powell brings Thurgood Marshall, Mr. Civil Rights, to life on stage." Dasha Morgan - Tribpapers
